Jeonggangwon, a Korean traditional food experience house is an institute which tries to inherit and develop the Korean food culture and provides diverse hands-on experiece programs related with the country's traditional foods. Lodging is available in a hanok, or the Korean traditional house.
* Features :
Organically grown vegetables, non-use of any chemical condiments, antique furniture interior in a traditional hanok, over 500 crocks which contain
soy sauce and any other pastes, and even a seokbinggo(or stone ice storage).
The institute gives away organic tomatoes to guests which lodge during spring and fall, potatoes in winter.
Jeonggangwon sells various kinds of jangs or pastes(incluidng gochujang and doenjang, etc) staring from November 2009.
