Information

In order to strengthen the local unity and to share the joy of abundant harvest, the Odaesan Buddhist Culture Festival is held yearly in October in Odaesan Mountain National Park which is located in Jinbu, Gangwon Province. The Odaesan Buddhist Culture Festival which aims to emerge as a representative festival of Gangwon Province, promotes the spirit of sharing to local residents. It offers diversified programs and activities in its effort to develop it into a representative Buddhist Culture Festival that would represent the local community and Korea, and could go beyond the Buddhist Temple of Woljeongsa.
The Buddhist Cultural Festival is held at the Foot of Odaesan Mountain which is famous for its superb views, and takes part with nature. People who come to visit will have a chance to participate in Buddhist unique culture programs like mind and body training as well as other various interesting events related to its culture.
