A statue of Buddha in the early Joseon Dynasty(1392-1910), this relic revealed 2 prayers of wishes which shed light on the origin of the statue and 23 clothing relics, including the clothing and ornament, and code of laws in that period inside the statue on July 1984.
This treasure is among the package relics the collected clothing of which was opened in order to get the information about the origin and creation years of the Child Manjusri Statue on July 19, 1984. The exposed prayers of wishes made it possible to get a glimpse on the manufacturing and repairing of the statue.
Those prayers have records on the reasons for forming the statue and its manufacturers as well as even the information on the repairing recording on the late generations.
