Daegwallryeong Samyang Ranch was inaugurated with a pioneering spirit aimed to invigorate vitality of the Mother Nature through the stockbreeding industry in 1972. It is the Asia’s largest ranch where 900 cattle and cows are raised in a grassland covering 18 million square meters (850~1400m above the sea level), and a total of 53 wind power generators create energy, which is emerging as another tour attraction.
Daegwallryeong Samyang Ranch holds various events and performances by offering organic milk to visitors and organizing Strawberry Festival in cooperation with nearby villages.
Meanwhile, Daegwallryeong Samyang Ranch is the shooting site of the film titled ‘A Love Story’ and famous for ‘A Love Story Tree’ located 1,330 meters above the sea level. The film titled ‘Korean National Flag’ was also made in Daegwallryeong Samyang Ranch.
