Film Shooting Site
Established in 1974, Daegwallryeong Sky Ranch is a gigantic ranch covering 9 million ㎡ that is nearly three times the size of Yeoui-do on the strength of 40 years of history. It presently raises about 400 Holstein cows and 100 Korea cattle in an environmentally friendly way and produces 1,400 tons of the first-grade crude oil and organic native cattle.
It is a nature-adaptive experience ranch focused on restraining artificial development as much as possible and enabling tourists to experience the nature as it is, and it offers proactive communion experiences through which visitors can feel the nature in person.
Such four roads as “Wide Landscape Road,” “Fringe Forest Road,” “Forest Rapid Road” and “Quick Pace Road” in the Daegwallryeong Sky Ranch enable visitors to feel the nature with the whole body and stroll through the woods. Once a thick fog is lifted for a while, one can see a spacious grassland, the general setting of the film ‘Welcome to Dongmakgol,’ with the naked eye, and a wild boar, the main character of the wild boar slow motion scene in the film, has been erected under a tree at the center of the grassland to reenact the film scene as it is. In addition, visitors can have a chance to feed horses and goats in baby zoological gardens and watch plants including flowers and trees that are difficult to find in downtown areas.
