People’s Forest Trekking Course is a trekking course located around Daegwallryeong Rest Area at the foot of Daegwallryeong 700 meters above the sea level where it is known to be optimized to biorhythm. Walking along the dirt road enveloping the hillside, one can come across forests composed of fir trees, yew trees, spruce trees, nut pine trees, Japanese larches and birches and feel united with the nature while appreciating wild flowers blooming everywhere. In particular, needle-leaf trees rich in phytoncide account for the largest part of the trekking course, so it makes trekkers feel healed and refreshed in the process of taking a walk.
