Maehwa Village located in the south of PyeongChang-gun is famous for its beautiful sceneries featuring PyeongChang River enveloping the village, cliffhanging precipice with rocks of extraordinary shape, towering mountains and pine tree forests. The neck of the rapids and the riverside road feature a multi-functional complex support center, a rest area, a parking lot and a small park on the back of beautiful landscape and a mountain trail around PyeongChang River. After passing by the riverside road, there is a small mountain to climb, before entering on a trail you will come across a pine grove sending forth pine tree scents that give a healing effect experience.
