Tourist Information
Satgatbong Peak in PyeongChang was named so because it stands tall in the shape of a satgat (a traditional hat made of bamboo), and it boasts of a great mountain and a dense forest. As various kinds of trees including wild flowers blooming around trails, pine trees and maple trees are harmonized with one another, it has drawn attention as the best natural learning center. It well preserves a primeval forest as it is away from foot traffic. In addition, visitors can purchase clean wild edible greens cultivated in a high ground 600 meters above the sea level in Jindong-ri.
