Tourist Information
Chiljokryeong Trekking Road is a 3.4km (round-trip) mountainous road from Munhi Village (Baengyong Cave Ecology Experience Learning Center) to Chiljokryeong Hill Observatory located at a turning of a road leading to Baegunsan Mountain. Chiljokryeong Trekking is accompanied by Donggang River. The road overlooks meandering clean Donggang River, and diversified broadleaf trees including oriental oaks and Mongolian oaks form dense forests, so visitors feel as if they were walking through primeval forests. If one climbs for one hour, he or she reaches Chiljokryeong Hill Observatory, and the landscape of Donggang River unfolding like a folding screen looks so beautiful as if it were a landscape painting. Visitors can have fun taking a look around Baengyong Cave, Natural Monument No. 260, and Donggang River Freshwater Fish Ecology Center located nearby.
