#97, Munhaksup-gil (Changdong-ri), Bongpyeong-myeon
Gangwon Province (Hyo-seok Literature Forest Park)
(Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese)
It reenacts the marketplace, the house in Chungju and the waterwheel in the novel so that visitors can take a walk while tasting the atmosphere of Bongpyeong, the setting of “Memilkkotpilmuryeop,” a novel authored by Lee Hyo-seok . It includes a 500 meter-long novel road composed of a rest area, a poetry-reading stage and a water spring and a 2.7 km-long trail. Various rare wetland plants naturally grow in wide swamps in forests, and a lot of crawfishes found only in clean areas inhabit in a valley, which is expected to provide the best cultural learning place.
