It is a starting point of Lee Hyo-seok’s Birthplace Course, the main theme of ‘Literature Road,’ the first section of Hyoseok Literature 100-ri Road (Lee Hyo-Seok’s Birthplace ~ Watermill (PyeongChang Tour Information) and the First Course Watermill (PyeongChang Tour Information) ~ Palseokjeong Pavilion). Lee Hyo-seok’s Birthplace Course starts at a house of Lee Hyo-seok’s birthplace, and it features a blue house showing off Lee Hyo-seok's s literary spirit, Lee Hyo-Seok Literature House and Watermill, the setting of the novel. It enables visitors to feel Lee Hyo-seok's life and literature as they are. Course No. 1 from Watermill (PyeongChang Tourism Information) to Palseokjeong Pavilion is a mysterious road where one can appreciate the beautiful nature to the fullest extent. The beautiful riverside road winding along Heungjeongcheon Stream presents new scenery each and every corner, and buckwheat flower fields distracting one’s mind with white waves and graceful Palseokjeong Pavilion become a beautiful painting as it is.
