Cheongoksan Mountain was named so because such a wild vegetable as Cheongok grew naturally along with greens called Gondeurye(or thistles). Since the topography is relatively flat and the area is large enough to crop 600 majigi of rice seeds, it has been called Yukbaek(600)-Majigi. Course A (6.4km, about 3 hours) : water supply catchment area – Yongsugol (Neungae-dong) - Neungseon Fork – Jidong Fork – Summit – Yukbaek-Majigi Course B (17km, about 8 hours) : Hanchi-dong – Yukbaek-Majigi – Heliport – Summit – Jidong Fork – Neungseon Fork – Satgatbong Peak – Jajingubi – Water Supply Catchment Area – Surijae Hill Course C (7.5km, about 4 hours) : Jidongri (Bus Terminal) - Jidong Fork – Summit – Jidong Fork – Neungseon Fork – Yongsugol – Water Supply Catchment Area – Surijae Hill Course D (9km, about 4h ours 20 minutes) : Jidongri (Bus Terminal) - Jidong Fork – Summit – Jidong Fork – Jidongri (Bus Terminal)
Turn right at Youngdong Expressway Saeman IC – National Highway No. 42 Anheung – PyeongChang – Mitan (A total of 200km, 4 hours required)
Turn left at Youngdong Expressway PyeongChang IC (in the direction of PyeongChang-eup and Daehwa) – Daehwa – Bangrim Three-Way Intersection – In the direction of Mitan and Jeongseon from PyeongChang-eup – Mitan – Hoedong-ri & Pyeongan-ri – Cheongoksan Mountain
