Tourist Information
Sujeongsan Mountain has graceful shape and gentle trails that are reminiscent of beautiful curves of a woman.
It has a vast amount of maple trees, royal azaleas, azaleas and Strobilacea, and a colony of royal azaleas creates a tunnel in the spring.
In the autumn, maple trees put on airs of elegance in a 200-meter-long section, and visitors can enjoy climbing the mountain while appreciating scenic snow that is knee-deep in the winter.
Sujeongsan Mountain is also called as “Ash Tree Mountain” because it has a vast amount of ash trees, and it is recorded as Sucheongsan Mountain, the guardian mountain of PyeongChang, in Sejong Silok (Record of King Sejong) and Sujeongsan Mountain in Donggukyeojiseungram.
