It is the highest peak among southern mountain ranges in Daegwallryeong, and the parent mountain of Jewangsan Mountain. Since it provides a relatively short hiking distance compared to other mountains in the Daegwallryeong range and enables visitors to appreciate beautiful scenery around Daegwallryeong at any time, it gets the limelight as a mountaineering trail. The peak has a short trail that starts from Daegwallryeong and a long trail that starts from Dakmokjae Hill. In particular, the trail that starts from Daegwallryeong features a short hiking distance, so it is just the thing for mountaineering families. ○Rest Area in the former Youngdong Expressway (Up) that has been downgraded to Local Road is a starting point of mountain-climb. Former Daegwallryeong Rest Area – Expressway Completion Monument – Spring (Three-Way Intersection) – Summit of Neunggyeongbong Peak – Spring (Three-Way Intersection) – Expressway Completion Monument – Daegwallryeong Rest Area (about 3.6km, 2 hours required) ○Daegwallryeong (832) – Jewangsan Mountain Fork – Neunggyeongbong Peak – Hoenggyehyeon (Rest Area No. 1/Daegwallryeong Tunnel) - Daegwallryeong Observatory – Omokgol Fork Three-Way Intersection – Gorupogisan Mountain (1238) – Omokgol Fork Three-Way Intersection – Omokgol – Hoenggye 5-ri Community Center (Hiking: 3 hours and 30 minutes )
